Hammer out a rhythm with the fifes and drums of Colonial Williamsburg in this fast-paced, keyboard-tapping arcade-style game. The better your rhythm, the happier the drum corps will be. As you miss the beats, though, they loose interest, frown their disappointment, and walk away.
Developing the Concept
For this game, Colonial Williamsburg wanted something simple, fun and addicting that featured the fifes and drums. We worked out a concept that combined unique illustrations and fast game-play, requiring the user to keep up with a steady stream of drum-beats scrolling down the screen.
Production
We developed the game in its entirety, first creating the concept, then illustrating the characters and world, and finally developing the game in Flash. We collaborated with Colonial Williamsburg throughout the process, inviting feedback and discussion, making adjustments where appropriate.
